I have built one forum used phorum 5.2.16, cause it's use Chinese UTF8 language,so I found some problem and fix its.
Cause PHP function basename() can't worked to Chinese coded utf8, and the attachment's name will show messy code,so need fix its by change core code.It's easy to do, I suggest Phorum may enhance its ability to process non-english language.

But one problem with BBCODE mod I can't solve, my forum abount programming,and many codes in post,so [cod_e] tag is important, but this tag is imperfect for codes,for example :
[cod_e]
user[ur_l] = http
[/cod_e]
in code tag, the [ur_l] will convert to hyperlink automatically, It's not my mean, so I need those codes in code tag keeping originally. how can I do?
