change user name colors?

hi,

I'd like users to see their own user names displayed in a different color from everyone else's names in the thread list, so they can spot their own threads at a glance.

it might also be nice if users could also see the user names of those in their buddy list in a different color than everyone else.

any ideas on how this might be possible?

There was some unofficial work done on an idea similar to this in the past but no official module was created (that I know of).

This may be implemented in the future if a mod developer likes the concept and has the time, but I doubt you will get anyone to create a module for Phorum 5.1. All of the development now is for 5.2 and beyond.
