Hi All,
I am trying to setup an iPhone friendly phorum similar to www.ipodbb.net,
I have also seen that it is possible in the features list of phorum.
I would appreciate it if anyone could direct me to an explanation or help me out.
Thanks
Lior

What feature list are you talking about? It is mainly a different kind of template that you need. ipodbb is based on Phorum, but I don't think that this template will be distributed for others to use. You could ask them though.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply,
I have found something about iphone version forum here (look at the bottom of the page) so i thought it might be supported.

I have also tried contacting the forum owner but I got no reply :(

If I will have to do it on my own, any idea where to start? I am a complete newbie with Phorum
Thanks,

Lior

thats just a simple module which switches the template based on the user agent.
you will have to write a new template suitable for the iphone.

would you be kind and show me how to use this module to distinguish the user agent?, I'll try to take it from there and write a new template
Thanks for your help

BTW, there might be a bug but I cant seem to add a link when using google chrome browser

write the template first. this is a much bigger task than adding a module.

As long as Chrome is still a newly born baby, I consider that a bug in Chrome and not a bug in Phorum. I have seen several Javascript scripts go wrong already, which do work correctly in other (also webkit based) browsers. I asume that it's V8 that needs some extra development.

Thanks for your help,
