Approve many posts at once (moderated)

When I approve a post on my board a page comes up and says (paraphrasing)

1 message(s) have been approved

Then I have to click the "unnapproved messages" link again each time opening a new window.

The "(s)" after message leads me to believe there is a way to approve several messages at once.

Is there a way to read all unapproved messages and then approve or decline several at once without opening a new page each time?

Or is it that, as I suspect, the "s" is there for when you approve a message along with its replies?

Using 5.0.21

yes, its like you suspect.

don't know why you are opening a new window for each call of the unapproved messages view. after approving a message you are brought back to that page.

New windows open because the cc_prepost.tpl had a target set to blank. I removed that and now new windows don't open.

But my thing was I would like to see a way to see all unapproved posts on one page with their text. Then I would check "approve" or "deny" beside each one. After reveiwing each new post and checking approve or deny I would hit one button and all actions would be taken at once.

It would save tons on my bandwidth.

Bandwidth? You meant to say "time", right?

No actually I meant bandwidth. When I am approving via the web each page that opens involves calls to the SQL as well as a bunch of HTML.

I guess what I was looking for was something like this:

I know what you are looking for and still that seems more of a time saver than a bandwidth saver to me. Approving messages should not really raise your bandwidth and SQL server usage noticably, unless the number of visitors for your site is really, really low.
