Hi, I've been running 5.0.20 for a while now and figured I'd finally get around to upgrading to a 5.1.xx.
I seem to recall there were some changes being made to the database layout between the two versions? (it has been a while)
To upgrade, will I need to run any upgrade scripts ( I couldn't find any in scripts/ ), or can I just "unpack and go"?
Also, I like my current template a whole lot, so will running my old 5.0.20 template on top of 5.1.xx be fine? (I realize there might be lost functionality, I'm thinking more about the compatibility of those that are there now).
Thanks

The template are not compatible, so you'll have to modify the 5.1 templates to look like your current 5.0 ones.
When you have uploaded the new files for Phorum 5.1 (of cousre after you made thorough backups of your current setup), you will be requested to go to admin.php. After doing that, admin.php will perform the neccessary upgrading steps for the database automatically.
