Adding an option to select template on user view?

Can anyone tell me please how to add teh option to select a template on the user view (forum home page)?
I saw an example of this option in: [scriptmonkeys.us]

I guess its a separate module or option there on the site.
Its not a build-in option in phorum but I guess you could write a module easily.
