Module : Note Messages of other users

Here is the Module Note Messages for users compatible with phorum 5.2.13 ( not tested for other phorum revision).

With this Module Note Messages , user is able to set a note between 1 to 7 about the message content of an other user.

---- At the end of each message it will appear :

- The Numbers of notes (1 times, 2 times)
- The average of notes for this message. (eg : 3.75 / 7 )

A user can only set 1 note per message.
The author of the message can not note itself.
Only registered users can set and view notes and average.

The Note message module is made with seven pictures animated in GIF format.
When mouse is over a picture, a text appear for describe (Very bad, bad and so on.....)

User can select in the admin part if Image or Text is display.

You can replace pictures by stars if you find some good pics !

There is 2 language files : English and French.

Hello Hvella! Thank you for this great contribution! Btw, it doesn't seem to work properly with 5.2.12.
Have you also considered setting up a more standardized model with stars and/or thumbs up/down in order to display the vote results (i.e. Digg)?

you can change the text alignement by modif the bar.tpl file.

You can also change the text in the language file.

i have not tested on 5.2.12 but you can updated your phorum for Free.

Please check that in the cache part in the admin page that message are not set in cache.

I have seen that there is problem when messages are in the cache.

Maybe by setting cache messages to OFF it will run on 5.2.12
