That sounds like you are running PHP4 but this module requires PHP5.

Are you sure that this is true for the cli-version too?

Hello,
This attached file from the External Phorummail mod package has been altered so that if you choose the option "Use Email for Login", the users Display Name will be used instead of the users Username.
This is useful for us who force the use of Real Names in our communities or have users who provide Real Names in their profile (like here, a username is the Displayed Name unless a real name has been entered).
An image has been attached to help explain.

One of my users is having trouble posting. Her emails get imported and displayed as in the first attached image. He actual email source is in the 2nd image. My theory is that each "boundary" is being saved as an attachment.
The source code for the script seems to indicated it was meant to handle HTML email messages, but apparently something is amiss.

Please let them send testmails / or redirect the mails on your own to
testmail@phorum-support.de .
I need to see the parser result and I don't have an aol account.

You should have several messages there now. I commented on which ones did not import properly (some with missing message bodies, and her attachments lacked a filename).
