This module adds a new-message icon to the forum index page. This is a popular feature in many other forum systems.
Two lines of code must be added to index_new.tpl for this module to work. Scriptmonkeys templates have this code pre-installed and do not have to be edited. With the necessary code added, this module has been tested and shown to work on Emerald, as well as the following templates available in the download section:
Eastlink
Black-Grey
Generic Integration
Orange on Olive
The module utilizes the standard Silk icons available with Phorum. We have included additional icons which the admin can use in the alternative. Details on how to change them are in the README file.
For more screen shots and information, click here.
Note: If you are using the Simple Rounded template created by Joe Curia, you won't need this module, as that template already has this functionality built-in.

I'm probably just blind but could you point me to where the icon is in your screenshot?

Sorry. That screenshot showed a custom icon set. The default are the Phorun icons. I've replaced the screenshot with one that uses those icons. Also, I added arrows to the screenshot to point-out the new icons. (These arrows will obviously not appear in the mod itself.)
