location of config.php

The default location is in the web-visible document tree. That doesn't look secure. Is there a simple way to relocate this file outside the document tree?

So tell me... what makes it insecure in your opinion? You know the exact location of the config.php for the Phorum forums. Feel free to try to hack your way in.

If you really want to move the file to another directory, then you will have to hack the core code to load the config file from the new location. This shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

?! It's in the document tree. Would be more secure outside it.

Not really. Its interpreted php and the user wouldn't see anything when loading it. Beside that there is usually a .htaccess in front of it.
