Can a specific post be bookmarked with a URL?

Can a specific post be bookmarked with a URL?

Say you have a thread with lots of posts and one post stands out. Can you click on a post icon - or id - and get an URL of that post. You then copy the URL and it will scroll to that post?

For those who didn't figure it out:
In the default emerald template, you can do this by clicking the subject of the message.

If you want to add a permalink to a read template yourself, then you can make use of the template variable {MESSAGES->URL->READ} to create an <a href> for it.
