I run a modified version of Phorum 3 myself, where I use my own user database, but AFAIK the user and the password are simply in the database. Have you tried looking it up there?

its the same.
the administrator is just a usual user which has some additional permission.
you can retrieve his password using the "forgot password"-function in the user-login in the forum itself.
