Post Pre-Approval Module

Posting this one second although its actually my first module.

This one only works in a forum with moderation enabled. What it does is lets you create a group where any members of that group can post without needing to have their posts approved by a moderator, effectively bypassing moderation. Any users not in that group (and all non-registered posters) will be treated normally.

When moderation is disabled, this module does nothing at all.

update - Don't use the attached version, you can download the most recent file from [www.hiredgoons.ca]

also could you make it so you could let all registered users bypass moderation.

Yep. New version included has an extra entry in the dropdown for "all registered users". Basically anybody who has a user_id >= 1.

Let me know if you have any problems.

it seems to be corrupted some how, just a bunch of directories named something giberish.

It seems to be only with your mods, I've dowloaded other mods and they downloaded okay...

Weird. Try downloading it here: [www.hiredgoons.ca]

If that doesn't work either, I'll check the archive, although I can extract that one.

PHP error Undefined Index on Pre-Approval Module
October 15, 2006 02:49PM
I'm getting the following error:

Notice: Undefined index: mod_preapproval in /path/to/preapproval.php on line 24

which corresponds to $PHORUM["mod_preapproval"]["group_id"] == -1

Help? Thanks.

Without looking at the internals: does this mod have a settings screen? If yes, then go to the settings and save them. The mod might not have implemented default settings.
