closed forum and register option

Hello.

I am working on a specific configuration of Phorum and maybe I have one more option for this great forum software in my mind.

My suggestion is (if it could be implemented) that administrator of Phorum could define a setting about public users being able to request registration or not.

I can see an advantage of this in using a closed group of users (registered by moderator/administrator) which is allowed to manipulate a specific forum.
This way administrator/moderator would not be constantly bothered with registration requests for the closed forum.

If anyone has any other idea how to disable registration form (and instead print a nice no-go message) please let me know.

Ofcourse one could just change/replace register.php, but maybe global solution would be more appropriate.

huh? he doesn't get them by mail.

and registrations are for *all forums* in this install, not just the current forum.
